TAG DAY FOR ANAWALT BAND

Tag day is drawing nigh, and perhaps you will be able to wittness the big occasion that will be featured in the month of March. The tagging will be staged in the communities of Anawalt, Jenkinjones and Pageton. Money that is raised in this manner will be used toward purchasing uniforms for the members of the band.
Ma!!! PA!!!! Friends! Patrons of our school! Expect us. Be ready with open pocketbooks, 'cause we'll be seeing "youse".

FORMER GARY TEACHER/PRINCIPAL
Mr. Peter A. McCoy, former Gary High School Teacher, is now Principal at Anawalt Junior High School.
Mr. McCoy's home was originally in Peterstown, West Virginia....It was here that he received his high school education. Later Mr. McCoy attended Concord College for two years after which he went to West Virginia University where he received both his A.B and M.A degrees.
Mr. McCoy taught five years in the Gary High School. While there he organized the Student Councilo, and sponsored the National Honor Society and Senior Class. He serves on the auditing committee in the Federal Credit Union for Teachers, and is a member of the Anawalt Kiwanis Club and Knights of Pythias Club of Maybeury.
